Camea – Neverwhere – Seattle-born, Berlin-based artist Camea joined Bpitch Control in 2011 when her first BPC single, City Watch Over Me, was released alongside other tracks and remixes on Get Physical, Soma, Plus 8, Upon.You, M_nus12 and her own imprint, Clink. Since then Camea has been balancing a busy touring schedule while remaining quietly focused in her studio for most of this year.

The first glimpse of her new series of music came in early 2013 with a moody dub/electronica track titled, Love On The Balcony, featured on BPCs highly acclaimed Where The Wind Blows compilation.

Finally we are pleased to announce that her new single, Neverwhere, has arrived on Bpitch Control. Camea describes her latest body of work as a collection of music that is deeply personal to me, where I hope to challenge the current tech-house norm and put an emotionally sincere element into the current musical landscape. This latest installation holds four poetically melodic pieces, titled Black Sparrow, I Dream Of You, Moonwalk Away and Neverwhere. In this journey Camea shares a more vulnerable side of herself by softening her bouncy, tech-house sound and replacing her usual percussive energy with soft, floating synths and deeply humming bass lines. She utilizes her classical music background as she envelops listeners ears with a keen sense of memorable grooves, combined with room-filling, dreamy and sentimental melodies. Camea achieves a nearly endless nighttime journey and shares, what it seems, a more delicate side of herself – without compromising her dance floor intuition.
