Joop Junior – Itanimulli EP – Joop Junior is an artist on the rise. Not many new producers immediately catch the attention of the scenes biggest stars but in 2012 the young Dutchman did just that when his tracks ‘Exclusive My Ass’ and ‘Hipster Panic’ were picked up by Richie Hawtin for his Minus imprint.
Since then Joop’s productions have gone on to win support from the likes of Adam Beyer, Umek, John Digweed and of course SCI+TEC boss, Dubfire. Joop looks to his music to transport the listener to another realm. Synthetic textures and uplifting rhythms are key and his moody and atmospheric sounds are woven together best in the sonic tapestries of his live club sets. His Itanimulli EP sees the Hague man deliver a four track SCI+TEC debut of the highest order and one that leaves is no doubt that Joop Junior is a star in the making.
