Per Hammar – Tunnel comes from Sweden returns to Break New Soil with a funk-driven techno two tracker. Per is building his reputation as one Sweden’s finest underground DJ exports since 2005. His music has been released by some of our scenes most respected imprints such as Saved, Intacto and Tronic. The title track “Tunnel” is wrapped around a straight forward techno groove.

Typical driving hi-hat patterns provide the framework for the lush chords that give “Tunnel” it’s soulful feel. “Shuriken” follows a deeper approach, while still remaining extremely energetic. The chords are not as direct and up-lifting but very propelling. A layer of dark strings give the track an extra portion of depth.
