The Demos EP sees the consistently impressive Going Good label follow killer 12″s from Moon B and Aquarian Foundation with a record from the anonymous Anom Vitruv, a producer whose combination of ambient tones and acidic, dubby techno comes with previous form on Taberbacle and Offseason. The Demos EP was originally released as a run of 50 cassettes on the Cleveland-based Tusco/Embassy Press label. The opportunity to bask in its hypnotic approach to techno should not be missed; across seven tracks it covers the kind of swirling beat haze of artists like Ital, the decayed ambient tones of Boards Of Canada, dubbed out acid and even fluttering electro-like rhythms.
