Kompakt’s Total compilation series returns this August.

The Cologne label has traditionally put out a Total compilation once a year to showcase some of the label’s recent hits alongside unreleased material from their stable of artists. They took 2013 off, though. As such, Total 14 is more jam-packed than usual. It comes in at two discs, with artists like Thomas Fehlmann, Maceo Plex, DJ Tennis (featuring PillowTalk) and Gus Gus all featuring. In terms of brand-new material, expect tracks from Superpitcher, Jürgen Paape, Michael Mayer and brothers Reinhard and Wolfgang Voigt. In addition to the double-CD release, a sampler from the compilation is due out as a vinyl doublepack.
