It may now be only three releases deep but the Trax Couture label arm of London-based party crew House of Trax does seem to be taking shape as one to keep your eye on. After a pair of 12″s from HOT co-pilot Rushmore, this third release demonstrates the label possess some canny A &R skills by offering the mysterious POSHGOD his first vinyl release. More commonly known for his MPC bashing antics as part of Miami crews Metro Zu and Raider Klan, POSHDOG switches up the programme for this Trax Couture bow. The five tracks here would feel right at home at a night overseen by Fools and Rushmore, with the breathlessly impressive “Akira Drift” an immediate highlight.
