Shanie Miotto drops her first-ever release straight from Montreal to the Tronic camp and the edit from label boos Christian Smith and usual suspect/collaborator Wehbba is up first. Pulling the gears back on this one, we get treated to subliminal chords and almost-epic progressions, while the momentum is fuelled by arpeggiated synths. The Macromism mix toughens things up a bit with a busy rhythm section and heavy use of lush pads, while using parts of the synths for extra class. Closing up, Matt Sassari stays true to his shadowy sound and brings in pitched-down vocals, cavernous effects and bubbling sub bass.
