Working under the Tom Of England name that will be familiar to fans of The Trilogy Tapes cassette mix series, this STD Edits Volume 1 is focused squarely on the spotters badge end of disco edits, and indeed will feel like a breath of fresh air to anyone that’s felt a bit let down by the edit brigade in the past few years. Lead cut “Cambridge Man” is a excellent rework of a mid 80s curio from The Woodentops whilst Kissing The Pink are given the STD treatment on the flip.
