STEM026 comes courtesy of long time Pittsburgh DJ/Producer Burke Fralic aka Mr. Stitch. This 5 track EP has a little something for everyone. ‘So Deep’ a chord and organ heavy, stompy house number is delivered to us in 2 versions, the original with it’s “deep….house” vocal snippets and the dub version which is just the stripped back groove.

‘I smoke’ is a trippy, deep, tech house track with a funky little spoken word vocal alluding to the producers extracurricular activities. Two remixes are included in the package both for ‘So Deep’. The first from label bosses EdgePlay who have an included a nice take on the original with a juicy bassline, nonstop percussion, massive synth sweeps and heavily effected vocal snippets.

The second mix, which we are very excited about comes from esteemed Vancouver based producer Jay Tripwire. Jay’s version is a monstrous chugger with a perfect hint of acid, big chord stabs and some very tasty synth licks. All in all we are very excited about this release. Also a big thanks out to our Pittsburgh buddy Adam Oliveri for helping to put this whole thing together.
