Russia’s rising Ricky Ebner returns to SCI+TEC with the follow up to his 2013 Trantola EP. Having originally impressed label boss Dubfire with the title track of that EP, Ricky was asked to work on more material and before long the young producer from the Serov State had confirmed his first full release.

His Take The Cause EP sees Ricky further explore his penchant for dark and reflective grooves. With a relaxed tempo and and array of twisted sounds, the title track opens the EP and sets the sinister tone. Angerfor creeps, with its marching beat and demonic vocal, before Palbalber ups the tempo and continues to spook with its vocal twists and turns. Blasted Bird closes the EP with its spritely stabs and and deep bass throb.
