Pascal Nuzzo teams up with Subjects for a three-fold rollercoaster into the shadows and the title track sets the tone immediately via a dislocated bassline that is the star of the affair, together with futuristic stabs, vocals reiterating the title and an apocalyptic breakdown. On “Maybe”, mutated chords complement the rocksteady rhythm section, while live snare edits are sprinkled alongside spoken-word passages. “Transporter” picks up from there and seals the deal with juicy sub-bass, hypnotic electronics and even more warped vocals.
