Kicking things off ‘Hyperactif’ immediately drops the listener deep into techno territory, implementing rolling bass, frantic percussion, and dark disorienting vocal samples that serve to send the dancefloor into a frenzy of pounding beats and sweaty bodies.
Next up, Kiko (@signaturebykiko) (Great Stuff / Material Series) steps up to the plate with his edit of ‘Hyperactif’, maintaining the full-on intensity of the track, but adding additional atmosphere and percussion that twist and turn, keeping the listener constantly on their toes.
The final track on the release ’Tulipe’ is a collaboration with Bulgaria’s Metodi Hrsitov (@metodihristov) (OFF Recordings / Deeperfect / Glasgow Underground) that dials down the intensity a notch. Again featuring that deep rolling bassline, only this time counterpointed with groovy percussion and old school acid licks.
