Pat Murano of The No-Neck Blues Band has been pursuing his Decimus project for some four years now, and in that time he’s managed to fling out a staggering amount of albums on all kinds of different labels including Kelippah and Digitalis. He was last seen on Further back in 2013 with Decimus 10, and now returns with the equally adventurous tones of Decimus 7. The experience is a long form, unpredictable trip into an abyss of experimental sound, where you might find yourself lost in quite comforting, bubbling synth lines or perhaps being interrogated by an erratic robot language. Such is the nature of Murano’s craft, and it’s a very pleasurable forty minutes to get lost in.
