We kick off 2016 with an exciting project for Cinematique. A few years in the making but finally it will see the light of day. It’s our honor to present Ben Stecker ft. Motsfeld.
It’s been a few years ago since we’ve heard this track for the first time. We fell in love instantly but somehow the track needed to travel before it came back home again here at Cinematique. And now it’s finally available for everyone. A beautiful vocal track produced by the young man Ben Stecker (who released a track before on Midnight Beats 2 under his Stan B moniker), with the voice of Motsfeld. A stripped down, emotional piece of electronic music which will let you float away.
To complete this EP we’ve asked three different remixers to make their own interpretation of ‘You are never here’. Manual Music boss Paul Hazendonk delivers a proggy dub version of the track while our French friend Teho stays more close to the original with adding some typical elements in his own trademark style. Finally, the furry Qbical returns to Cinematique again with a wicked remix giving the track a funky twist.
