Noah Pred returns to Biotop with “The Spurn“. Since his last EP on Biotop in December 2014, the Berlin-based Canadian producer focused on his collaboration projects Concubine (with Rick Bull) and False Image (with Tom Clark), resulting in a brilliant Concubine album and their debut live set at Berlin’s finest Panoramabar, and a great False Image EP on Get Physical. So now it’s about time for a brand new EP of his solo project on Biotop.

“Being left out in the cold and having to make your own way“: keeping that philosophic thought in his mind, Noah Pred was diving deep into his machines, producing two of most his unique tracks. “The Spurn“ pleases with its crystal clear sound design and a huge driving bassline, while “Forlorn“ features dreamy synth sequences and trippy percussion. For a proper remix treatment Biotop invited Pred’s Canadian friend Rennie Foster, who delivered a techno-tool rework of “The Spurn“; Enough! label-boss Danilo Schneider’s rework of “Forlorn“ is more reduced yet no less driven.
