MDRNTY has been a recognized swiss music event brand for the last 10 years, developing daytime electronic music events in the most outstanding locations of the Swiss Alps.

2016 marks the beginning of a new adventure with the launching of it’s own music label, showcasing a network of artists closely related to the festival.

The very first release on the new MDRNTY RECORDS imprint comes from Ryan Crosson. American dj and producer, globe trotter performer and one of the heads of the worldwide recognized Visionquest team.

The opening track “Aphelion” offers a futuristic techno beat paired with forward driving baselines and backed by emotional pads. “Appalachia” on the B side, keeps a similar soundscape but slowly shifting into a swinging beat. A detailed sound design and an engaging groove that prepares the territory for the last song on the record. “Bambi Hands” closes the Ep on a high note. A playful melody as leitmotiv driven forward by a rolling baseline gives the perfect imagery of those endless dancing afternoons on the top of the Swiss Alps for which Modernity is famous.
