Zone & Usif ‘Balkan EP‘

Underyourskin Record‘s latest installment ‘Balkan‘ by Zone & Usif takes us to a region that has become more and more relevant – musically and literally. The EP‘s eponymous tune ‘Balkan‘ is a downtempo ride through the unseen and undiscovered territory paired with smoothering folk elements. Monolink‘s remix turns the downtempo original into a deep house tune turning a little on the BPM-wheel and adding deep synth patterns to the present folk elements. A second remix comes from Canson, who‘s version remains true to the original‘s downtempo vibe, but adding some hypnotic flavor that directly gains access to body and mind. ‘Namruda‘ and ‘Andeli‘ complete the EP and emphasize Zone and Usif‘s approach of combining the best of two world: traditional influences with the soul of electronic music.
