‘Mare’ is Christian Löffler’s second studio album and follows in a similar vein to his self-released debut, 2012’s ‘A Forest’. Recorded in his painting atelier the album features an expanded co-work with Hamburg based vocalist Mohna and it’s the first time he has sung himself on a release.
A key difference is the much more organic feel of the music, nearly every sound and every instrument is self-recorded using a huge collective of self-modified synthesizers and traditional instruments.
