Finnish Techno stalwart ”Marko Laine” brings a more Acidic addition to Planet Rhythm’s steady string of releases. After a long hiatus of nearly a decade, ”Marko Laine” only resurfaced again in 2016 through finish operation ”Kova”. The somewhat mythical figure that had a string of powerful releases through Djax-Up-Beats in the nineties now comes up with ”Turning EP”. The title track proves to be a chaotic Techno anthem that is energetic throughout. ”Sea” is a more contemporary sounding atmospheric cut with a nicely placed Acid line that rolls throughout. For ”B 2” Laine returns to a more aggressive techno ambiance while “C 1” is a nice builder.
