As Superfreq head honcho Mr C once famously declared: naughty naughty, very naughty.. bwahaha! The deep down and dirty shenanigans for the now Los Angeles based label come courtesy of London’s Saytek – who follows up last year’s tremendous Voltage Controlled EP. Yet again he throws down some raw and jackin’ live jams recorded straight from the analogue out of his mixer and capturing some true studio emotions off the fly. The title refers to tracks which were debuted at the 30th anniversary of Danny Rampling’s seminal UK acid house party Shoom this past December. Fittingly, he captures the zeitgeist of the party’s early heyday on the Traxx Records sounding tributes, while at other times venturing into more modern interpretations reaching near esoteric moments like on the first track through to the heads down darkroom dub that is the final offering.
