Fresh from launching their own label Oddity, it’s finally time for their debut MOOD excursions. And they’re marking the moment in style with two tunnelling slabs of techno noir.
‘Spiral’ leads explosively. A depth plunge bass/kick combo surges us forward before rippling acid lines twist in and out of the percussive momentum. Total lava drama, there’s a viscous, dark fluid like nature running right through to the final palpitating thump. ‘Comet Encounter’ takes an even darker twist; more spacious to make room for the bass-licked tremors, it mutates and morphs with tones and textures so all-encompassing they’re borderline psychedelic. Handle with caution.
