With our 111th release we welcome back Th;en & Las Von to ICONYC with their latest 2 track masterpiece ‘Emery’. The duo who has been causing quite a stir with their progressive and melodic techno influenced driving productions. On their return to ICONYC the duo’s maturity and musical development is in full swing, as we kick off proceedings with the title track ‘Emery’, a deep, hypnotic track which is interspersed with subtle effective percussion a profound floaty grooves and indie influences, turning this one into an underground anthem with a very soul tangling appeal, utilizing a hypnotizing groove as the basis of the track underpinned by a staccatoed bass that gradually eases its way to the breakdown of breaks percussive elements before unleashing into a rising melodic hook intertwined with the infectious vocal that fades in and out for maximum effect.

To close out the duo’s stunning EP we have another gem ‘Chevelle’, a track interspersing with roomy glowing love, filtered stabs and stunning groove which beautifully leads into the dreamlike drop, with its understated yet driving bassline powering the groove along.
