The always on point Dear Deer Records fire out another fascinating Ep, this time coming from Belgian artist Paradoks. A young talent who already has released on the likes of Parquet Recordings, Carton-Pate Records and Ballroom Records, this 2 tracker Ep ‘Mirage’ further shows how he excels when it comes to deep, powerful, melodic rhythms.

The title track opens up and is deep from the off, with spiritual vibes and eerie vocals working alongside a tantalising melody and sombre pads. Second Track Passage meanwhile is more driven and forceful, built on a crescendo of tension and perfect for the peak of the night, to really have the dancefloor locked in suspense.

Another fine one for the ever-growing back catalog of excellence from this superb label.
