More From This Label

Back in 2016, SAFT and Chris Gray got together to re-issue ”Sweetness You Bring”. Three years later, from the same Deep4Life record as ‘Sweetness You Bring’, SAFT re-issues the original version of ‘Brink Of Insanity’. The original version, which first appeared in 2000, is included in this package together with three previously unreleased versions.

For the A1 position Chris has reworked his own original to a spaced out version. Working under his ‘’Moonchildren’’ guise, the jujuRYE version includes some bouncy vocals and ethereal pads that change up the ambiance of the original. While the jujuRYE version has a more jaunty touch, on the original, the mood is more dubbed out. Subtle chords and minimalistic soft vocals create the deep tones that Chris Gray is known for. Gerd Janson and Philip Lauer introduce a version under their ‘’Tuff City Kids’’ guise on the B1 position. Dreamy synthesizer tones and glistening fx are introduced along the way.

With a duration of just over seven minutes, the Tuff City Kids remix is the longest track on the record. For the B2 position, Chris Gray returns with another rendition. The Sexy Solar Radiation turns out to be a smooth version that is built around the glassy strings, deep percussion and a positive atmosphere. Brink Of Insanity is available through all specialized retailers from early 2019
