FiveP is the aka behind Marco Cinquepalmi a techno & deep-house influenced italian DJ and producer. He’s the main responsible of ’Underwater’, Manitox’ next release. An EP composed of two original tracks plus an awesome remix from well-known producer Betoko.
The Bari based producer is a fast rising artist with great releases in labels like BeatFreak Recordings or 3000 Grad Records. Now he joins Manitox which is for sure a winning bet for German Brigante and his team confirmed on this powerful release.
First of all ‘Sinergy’ opens in a brilliant way this new Manitox reference. A catchy melody since the first beat guides the listener into a 6 minute pleasant journey. This melody is combined amazingly with another synths making a great call-response.
As second track, and giving its name to the EP we find ‘Underwater’. A melodic techno influenced track in the way of FiveP’s latest productions. With this beautiful composition, the italian creates great moments of mystery during the breakdown which are brilliantly resolved with a powerful ascending arpeggio that gives energy to the track.
Finally, Betoko’s remix can be the icing on the cake of this stunning EP. The mexican born producer is the responsible of taking Underwater into a more danceable ground adding an extra rolling percussive synth. Over the past years Betoko has made his mark on several labels like Suara, Get Physical, Exploited or on his own OKO Recordings and now he joins Manitox with this great remix.
