About Steffi & Virginia – Electronica / Downtempo Artists
Dutch-born producer Steffie Doms operates from Portugal after years based in Berlin, running labels Klakson, Dolly, and Candy Mountain. Her techno and house productions span from raw hypnotic cuts to peak-time driving tracks across Ostgut Ton, Dekmantel, and her own imprints.
Brazilian DJ and producer Virginia Högl operates under the mononym Virginia, releasing music since 2010. Her deep house and hypnotic techno productions appear on Ostgut Ton, Dekmantel, and Dolly, spanning raw club tracks to indie dance crossovers.
Steffi and Virgini return with the new eight-track double EP ‘Work A Change’ on Ostgut Ton, inviting us into new dimensions of the sonic world they have crafted together over a number of years.
The first single – “Help Me Understand” — lands us on another planet entirely, complete with extraterrestrial synths and animated robotics.
