London-based DJ and producer Erol Alkan, born in 1974, is the founder of Phantasy Sound label. His releases span peak-time techno, house, and electro across driving and deep variations, with 15 releases on his own imprint dating from 2013 to 2024.
Special Request is the alias of Leeds-born producer Paul Woolford, active since 2012 and inspired by UK pirate radio culture. The project delivers house and techno alongside breakbeat and speed garage across labels including Houndstooth, XL Recordings, Fabric, and R&S Records.
