Diplo is Thomas Wesley Pentz, an American DJ and producer from Tupelo, Mississippi who founded Mad Decent label. He releases tech house and afro house tracks on Higher Ground and Columbia, blending electronic genres with trap and EDM influences.

Australian producer Sonny Fodera relocated from Adelaide to London in 2013 and runs the Solotoko label. He produces tech house and deep house tracks for Defected, Higher Ground, and Cajual with 78 releases since 2010.
