Reset Robot returns with another exquisite Truesoul offering, led by the timeless vocal composition ‘I Wish You’d Never’.

Digging deeper into his sonic repertoire during lockdown, the producer (aka Dave Roberston) crafts a thoughtful EP brimming with shimmering ambient tones and textures.

‘I Wish You’d Never’ reinforces his superior production skills, led by the mammoth title track. A strong lead vocal rubs shoulders with lustrous synth swirls, lilting pads and crisp percussion, before a brooding bassline comes into focus and hits with a deliciously menacing punch. ‘Time Loop’ is a piercing acid trance cut that begs to be rinsed. ‘Fluid’ originally begun as ambient electronica work, but evolved into a tougher composition through the course of the studio session: “out of curiosity I added some drums and a more aggressive bass synth and it came together,” Robertson says of the grandiose, pad-laden work.
