Returning with his ‘Come On Then EP’, Kevin Reynolds sets up for his debut album release ‘A Certain Circumstance’. The title cut starts off with its chunky beats and fluttering bass, then comes along creating a hypnotic head noddin affair. Taken from his forthcoming long player, ‘Appointment Confirmed’ gets treatment from label boss, Osunlade. A slight change from the originals chord heavy swing, Osunlade carries the tune with a stripped appeal keeping it deep. Jay Daniel blessed us with a lovely rendition of ‘Come On Then’ in his signature funk, while Octave One comes on board to provide us with some classic Detroit techno vibes with their remix of ‘Para Ti’ featuring Paul Randolph.
