Ale comes bursting out of the gates on the A-side, the project’s namesake. Dreamsco’s crisp house cuts are wrapped in analog character, as sterling synths meander into the mix to form a lush pillow of sound. Guitar riffs keep it old-school, while the round bassline punches home the groove as it opens to the distantly warm vocal hook. An all-consuming classic from Mosso.
Raketo dives deeper into the melodic side of Alejandro’s nature. Plentiful percussion stirs the rhythm, while synthetic tones undulate from left to right in psychedelic fashion. A smooth valley forms as the arrangement thins, allowing space for a sumptuous build to create momentous dancefloor appeal.
To close out the project, Drifters forms the middle ground between its predecessors. Delightful drums take us back to the house heyday, while new-age melodies provide a modern feel as the track develops. Mosso’s unrelenting groove makes this a dancefloor burner, with high-end rhythms and a heady underbelly checking all the boxes.//
