Thomas Schumacher is a German DJ and producer from Bremen who founded Spiel-Zeug Schallplatten and Electric Ballroom labels. His productions span peak time techno and tech house, with releases on Noir Music, Spannung Records, and Rusted Records since 2010.
Thomas Schumacher’s “Schall” is a landmark techno track that has pushed the boundaries since its original release in 1995. A remix by the man himself turned the underground cult track into a chart phenomenon, something unseen up until then. The story continued when Thomas created a special mash-up of Schall and Soft Cell’s “Tainted Love” to celebrate his first DJ set at the legendary Fusion Festival in 2016, which ended up becoming one of the most saught after mash-ups.
