Los Angeles producer Franklyn Watts (real name Franklyn Orellana) operates under the former alias Noise Frenzy. His tech house productions appear on This Ain't Bristol, CUFF, Box Of Cats, Glasgow Underground, and Thanks for Sending.
Gettoblaster is a duo comprised of Paul Kallay Jr. and Zachary Bletz with roots from Chicago and Detroit. The pair produces tech house and jackin house tracks for labels including dirtybird, Too Many Rules, and dftd.
Missy is a house music vocalist who has released 10 tracks on Electrobuzz since July 2021. Her sound spans tech house, jackin house, deep house, and afro house across labels including Glasgow Underground, Medium Rare Recordings, and Rawthentic Music.
We’ve been big fans of Gettoblaster for a while; their jacked-up percussive workouts are just the thing we look for when the dancefloor is heaving. We love “People Talkin'” on Demuir’s Purveyor Underground and “The 302” (w/ DJ Deeon) on Patrick Topping’s Trick label. Still, one of our favourite house tunes of the past months has been their “H O U S E” (w/ Missy) on Nhan Solo’s Superfett – it has the perfect combination of hooky vocal and driving tech beat. Their debut for us sees Missy giving her spin on the Kelis’ classic while Gettoblaster deliver a wickedly funky bass groove complete with wonky synths and a thumping kick. Banger!//
