Next up on Kaluki this September, we are welcoming another two label newcomers, in the form of Peruvian DJs and producers, Nicolas Caprile and Chinonegro who join forces to present the brand new, ‘Sabor Latino’ EP.
Influenced by Minimal and Tech House grooves, these two friends and collaborators have seen their releases prosper on some of the biggest labels in the scene including elrow, Glasgow Underground, Great Stuff, Lapsus, NONSTOP, Stereo and more as well as playing sets alongside the likes of Phil Weeks, Coyu, Javi Bora, Olivier Giacomotto, Sebastian Leger and German Brigante. The dancefloor focused ‘Sabor Latino’ EP showcases both artists unique sound offering deep, melodic grooves, organic drums, hooky arpeggio bass leads, hypnotic atmospherics and chopped vocal shots throughout.
Completing the EP is a fantastic rework of the titular track from none other than Darius Syrossian who adds his own stamp and flavour to the record offering a chunky minimal cut with smeared pads, pulsating subs, stripped-back bassline, sophisticated synth patterns and kinetic drum programming that gives the record the perfect bounce.//
