I’ve always loved the Arthur Baker / Rockers Revenge version of this Eddy Grant song. So when Duwayne Motley sent us his nu-disco version, I wanted to do a house remix that paid homage to Arthur’s Paradise Garage classic. I’ve taken Baker’s (likely to my ears!) Juno synths and dropped them over a bumping beat. Tasty Lopez always delivers on the vocal front, and her slow-burning tones add a perfect sultry summer feel.//
