Umami is a German DJ duo comprised of Robert Helms and Sam Schlatow, active since 2011. The pair produces tech house and melodic house & techno for labels including KATERMUKKE, Bar 25 Music, and trueColors.
Berlin-based producer Zigan Aldi, originally from Türkiye, has released eight tracks on Electrobuzz since 2016. His organic house and deep house productions appear on labels including Acker Records, trueColors, and Kamai Music, spanning downtempo electronica to progressive house across a seven-year catalog.
Often times a group of artists come together to create something alluring and magical, and the ‘Tomorrow’ EP from the duo of Umami and Turkey’s Zigan Aldi is just that. The title track weaves dynamically through a range of sound and percussion, constantly contorting and braiding the parts to a defined peak that comes back to drive it home.
‘Who Knows’ is a beautifully crafted vocal over a bed of whimsical beats and elements that transport the listener to divinity.
