Decoder – Artist Profiles
Decoder is British producer Darren Beale from Bristol, known for his drum and bass work since 1974. His recent techno output spans raw hypnotic grooves to peak-time driving tracks across labels including Float Records, Molecular Recordings, and Fixed Rhythms.
At just 17, Decoder is certainly the youngest artist to debut on [R]3volution Records. The artist, born and resident in Texas but of Indian origins, possesses skills and mastery that make him look like a techno veteran, despite being a teenager. A clear example are the 5 tracks contained in this “The Light EP”. Just listen to them to understand that Decoder will certainly be one of the reference artists of the scene for the next few years
