Finnish producer Klas-Henrik Lindblad operates under the Freestyle Man alias, with additional projects as Sasse, Morris Brown, and Bluekey, and is now based in Berlin. His sound spans deep house and peak time techno across labels including Moodmusic, Studio Barnhus, and Mule Musiq since 2010.
Kiki is Finnish producer Joakim Ijäs, born in Helsinki and now based in Berlin. He produces deep house, tech house, and melodic techno across labels including Moodmusic, Exploited, and Bar 25 Music, with releases spanning from 2009 to present.
Sasse is Finnish producer Klas-Henrik Lindblad, based in Berlin and founder of Moodmusic label. His sound spans deep house and tech house with releases on Moodmusic, Apersonal Music, and My Favorite Robot Records.
Moodmusic Records turns 25 years in 2021 and we have some goodies for you for the next months with a series of EPs which finalise with a full compilation at the end of the year.
Let’s start the celebration with Aera’s interpretation of ‘This Side Of The Moog’ from label owner Klas Lindblad as Freestyle Man. Originally the song came out on Sunday Music, the label Henrik Schwarz and Sasse founded in 2003, now we have Aera drop some TNT on the original parts with his low slung groove.
For the flipside we chose our dear friend Jepe to remix on of the highlights of the vast MMR catalogue, ‘Belvedere’ from Kiki & Sasse from 2007. Originally a synth heavy belter, Jepe strips it down to bits of italo disco meets his Portugese balearic vibes, with an irresistible groove. Let’s Spritz !//
