Ben Sims Hardgroove lunges into its disco-infused side with the latest Disco Trix Vol.6 EP, featuring Sims alter-ego Ron Bacardi and Barcelonas DJ Bruce Lee.

Featuring three tracks from each artist and an additional edit from Ron Bacardi, Disco Trix Vol.6 continues the fine tradition of the Disco Trix series, characterised by crafty sampling and nifty re-editing.

The double funky Ron Bacardi edit of DJ Bruce Lees Bumpin opens the release before Bacardis own Way, Way Down gets under your skin in the best possible way. The prehistoric groove of DJ Bruce Lees The House That Bruce Lee Built and his aptly titled and rugged ‘Funk is Strong cut follows, broken up by the rare pleasure of Ron Bacardis Easy.

Closing out the EP comes a swift one two from RB and DJBL, with the former dropping the slick, discoid house of All That and the latter going full on with the sly, edit throwdown of Ya Luv.//
