In my debut album, I put together a mosaic of my own dreams and fears, imaginary and real. I was searching for magic and harmony in poetry and opera, paintings and philosophy. I was looking for answers to questions deep in my mind and beyond it. From time to time I was locked in solitude, inspired by the freedom and spirit of the Russian revolution in rainy gray skies. On the cover is “Master’s dream” of Ekaterina Poyedinshchikova, one of my favourite Russian artists. Naturally, looking at this picture, I see myself shrouded in the magic web of Ancient Rus.
My mission was to reveal inner secrets. I wanted to watch like blind, to hear like deaf, to feel like one who has no heart.
