Exciting newcomer Joplyn makes her debut on Watergate, marking the final release of 2021.
The Berlin-born artist, with Vietnamese and Canadian heritage, is a prodigal talent who made her first major impact in the electronic music world with her impressive collaboration with none-other-than Booka Shade. The track ‘Polar Lights’ which she co-wrote with the iconic duo featured on their ‘Dear Future Self’ album last year.
A piano player since the age of six, the music she writes is the product of poems and short stories that explore identity, transience and new beginnings.
