Purple Disco Machine is the alias of German producer Tino Piontek from Dresden, who previously released music as DJ Stereofunk from 2005 to 2012. His disco house productions appear on labels including Sweat it Out!, Defected, and Columbia Local, earning him a 2023 Grammy Award for his remix of Lizzo's "About Damn Time."
