Hungarian producer Mateo Jaschik operates under the moniker Mateo, releasing on Glasgow Underground, Nite Grooves, and 4Lux Black since 2012. His productions span deep house, classic house, and Afro house territories across seven releases for the label collective.
Matos is a Montréal-based electronic duo active since 2007. They produce deep house and Afro house tracks for labels including Glasgow Underground, Nite Grooves, and 4Lux Black.
After his retake on “Release The Rhythm”, which saw A-lister like Prunk dropping it, Kevin McKay turns his attention to “Just A Dab”, a cut from Mateo & Matos sophomore album, released back in 1999. Again, he keeps the looping disco Rhodes from the original and wraps it up in the kind of heavy-ass beat that should deliver another hit in top-drawer USBs. Add to that a new and spicy, horn-fuelled breakdown, and we have another Jackin’ winner.//
