Hot Since 82 is Leeds-based producer Daley Padley, who founded his own label Knee Deep In Sound in 2014. His tech house and deep house productions appear on Saved Records, Moon Harbour Recordings, Moda Black, and Truesoul.
London-born singer and songwriter Jemma Victoria Cooke operates as Jem Cooke in the electronic music scene. Her vocal work spans melodic house, deep house, and progressive house across labels including Crosstown Rebels, Defected, and Pryda Presents.
This EP is the result of a competition ran on Knee Deep In Sound. We made the stems available for anyone to remix, and we received over 1000 entries, from every corner of the globe. Here is the winner, Jorhav, and five brilliant runners up. It’s a great opportunity to revisit this seminal record for Hot Since 82 and also shine a light on exciting new talent.//
