Brynjolfur á Heygum is a Faroese producer and DJ based in Copenhagen, Denmark. His releases on Hafendisko span indie dance, nu disco, and deep house across seven releases from 2013 to 2022.
Copenhagens Shaquille Beck McGosh (Prom Night) & Brynjolfur Heygum (Brynjolfur) join forces for their first-ever collaborative effort. The four track EP BDYBSC (BODYBASIC) brings uplifting arpeggios, no-nonsense bass-lines & nostalgic rhythms into 2021.
Starting off with the hard-hitting Dr. Arpeggio, followed up by the gleaming Freakfunk (Hot Mix) moving on to the euphoric BDYBSC and ending with the melancholic outro track Freakfunk’ (Cool Mix), the two Copenhagen based producers present their first EP, BODYBASIC.
Dr. Arpeggio sees a remix from Swedish Disco prince, Storken, known for his popular 2019 release Lille Vals on Gerd Jansons Running Back Records. Rain Dance receives a remix by Danish artist Kasper Bjrke, a well-known name in the genres of Indie Dance / Nu Disco, with numerous releases on labels such as: Kompakt, Permanent Vacation, Hfn Music and more.
