Jordan Nocturne is Belfast producer Jordan McCuaig, who co-founded The Night Institute and runs label Nocturne Music. His melodic house and indie dance productions appear on Permanent Vacation, Correspondant Records, and Polari Records, spanning organic downtempo to tech house across nine releases since 2022.

Belfast’s Jordan Nocturne (FKA Jordan) shares new EP, Day 2, on seminal Munich imprint Permanent Vacation, joining label alumni including Gerd Janson, Red Axes and John Talabot. An acid-laced hip-house stomper, title track “Day 2” features the vocals of Irish duo Le Boom frontman, Christy Leech. With the Sunday Times describing Le Boom as an “Early 1980’s New York post-disco throwback”, the collaboration was a no-brainer. The track marks Jordan Nocturne’s first full vocal collab and with his cult Nocturne Edits series having vocal club music as its heart, this EP represents a new evolution and a taste of what’s to come. On the flip, “Balearia”, takes the EP into dreamier territory – a laid back groove with enough percussion to see this one through from boat parties and terraces by day, right to the club.//
