French producer Marc Cerrone, born in Vitry-sur-Seine in 1952, began his solo career in 1976 after leading Kongas and serving as musical director for Club Mediterranée resorts. His recent Electrobuzz releases blend nu disco and indie dance, drawing from his decades of disco-electro expertise.
Purple Disco Machine is the alias of German producer Tino Piontek from Dresden, who previously released music as DJ Stereofunk from 2005 to 2012. His disco house productions appear on labels including Sweat it Out!, Defected, and Columbia Local, earning him a 2023 Grammy Award for his remix of Lizzo's "About Damn Time."
