ENØS is a Swiss electronic music duo that has released nine tracks since 2017 across labels including Einmusika Recordings, Purified Records, and IMPRESSUM. The pair produces melodic house & techno and peak time driving techno, with releases spanning from atmospheric progressive sounds to dancefloor-focused productions.
VNTM is Dutch producer Thomas van de Ven from Amsterdam who has released 11 tracks since 2018. His sound spans melodic house and techno through raw hypnotic techno, with releases on Gem Records, Spectrum, IMPRESSUM, ARTS, and Just This.
Impressum Recordings are happy to have ENØS return to the label with their new collaboration with VNTM, with a powerful 2 tracker ‘Edge Of The World EP’ which is perfect for late summer nights.
ENØS have previously released their exceptionally well crafted melodic house and techno sound on profile labels like Afterlife, Oddity Siamese and more, and they featured on the Symbiosis One VA earlier this year. Meanwhile VNTM has already been creating a solid name for himself with releases on highly regarded labels such as Afterlife, Just This, Second State, and Spectrum. His sound would be characterised as melodic and strong willed techno, which is filled with plenty of emotion. Having released on some of the same labels individually, ENØS have teamed up with the fast rising young Dutch artist VNTM to create a powerful and epic 2 tracker with a strong emphasis for after dark in big rooms, festival.
The first and title track on the EP is called ‘Edge Of The World’, a dynamic and authoritative kick gets you locked straight away in the knowledge something big is incoming. With a dramatic feel from start to finish this evolves as it moves through the track using treated synths and strings to really add tension and feeling to the track before they drop a compelling anthemic breakdown to get the crowd rising into rapture.
Track two is ‘Downfall’, which again starts with a captivating kick and grows in a crescendo to the dreamy melodic breakdown before dropping back into the powerful main section to get those hands in the air.//
