I wrote the 2 tracks in my old home studio in Dublin. I had been digging through a lot of 80’s and Italo house records at the time, and felt really inspired to cross that over into the EP. The Main body of Don Johnson was recorded using Sylenth, layered with fat drums and those famous disco sounds to give it that party feel. Tropical Party Vibes was more of a 90’s driven track. Created with 909’s, classic M1 organs and a piano riff, I also ran my TD-3 underneath it all to have that subtle acid line pop through the track. There’s also that cool little forest sample tweeting in the background that gives it a real ‘tropical vibe’.” George Feely//
