Based on the work of Paolo Soleri combining architecture and ecology, an arcology is envisioned as an integrated design for sustainable coexistence.
Prior to this production, Pred began to construct his first generative sequencing tools in Max/MSP – and, naturally, conducted a variety of musical experiments with them.
While these sequencers and other devices are now publicly available via Manifest Audio, Arcologies is the result of those early experiments.
Problem solving can be understood as a form of creativity. Another aspect of creativity feels something like a dance with chaos. These tracks are a result of both.//
